As a young fashion designer in New York, where there are thousands and thousands of other fashion designers from all around the world competing for your client base, it is often a privilege to be able to align with a more established commercial enterprise to help your design company move forward.Next month, my fashion line "Ishii New York" will have the fabulous opportunity to be an exclusive vendor to "Escape" the beautifully designed boutique located at the swanky "Cove Atlantis" in the Bahamas. I will naturally be doing mostly resort and spring/summer collections for them but will also feature some of my signature cocktail and evening gowns as they often receive a large amount of celebrity clientele.
I am very fortunate to have been offered such a partnership and I am currently working very hard to fill their first order which should be at the boutique in early August 2008! So if any of you readers decide to go stay at "The Cove Atlantis," don't forget to stop by the "Escape" boutique to check out my line of resort wear which will be labeled as "Ishii New York for The Cove Atlantis!"

About Tamae Elizabeth Ishii
Tamae Elizabeth Ishii was born in Tokyo, raised in Northern California and now resides in The Upper East Side of New York where she is a fashion designer with her eponymous line of high end women's ready to wear called "Ishii New York."
Tamae attended the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York as well as Paris and has apprenticed with several top fashion houses including Calvin Klein, Zac Posen, Lela Rose, Tory Burch and most recently for Valentino which took her all the way to his Atelier in Rome, Italy.
In her spare time, Tamae enjoys international travel, gourmet cooking, spending time with her Persian cats and her newly rescued long coat Chihuahua. In her earlier days she was also a cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders, becoming the first Japanese citizen (she's now a US Citizen) to become an NFL cheerleader.
